Piecemakers is a ministry that gathers women of all ages together for fun, fellowship, and to learn the basics of piecing and quilting. We share knowledge and quilting experiences. Our goal is to minister to each other, the church and the community.
We started the New Year by lengthening meeting times a couple of hours so more sewing and quilting can be accomplished while we are together. Our January meeting was all about cutting fabric to be assembled into “kits” with the goal of supplying more lap quilts to those in need.
We have completed two quilts for the FBC School Auction in March and new projects for upcoming mission trips have been started. We are so appreciative and thankful to all who have made donations of fabric that we use in our ministry.
Piece Makers meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month in the Stone House at 303 Sycamore Street from 9 am until 2 pm. All are welcome to join us as we stitch something for someone to love.
