Born and raised in Houston, Troy graduated college at University of Houston with a BBA. He went on to earn his Masters of Religious Education from Southwestern Seminary. During college, God called him to the ministry and for over 17 years he served as a Minister to Students. He came to FBC Brenham in 1998 as Minister to Students, but moved into the Associate Pastor role in 2001. He is married to Kelley and has two daughters, Jamie & Jillian. He is an endurance athlete who loves sports.
